Role Description

This is a contract role for a Data Scientist. The Data Scientist will be responsible for developing and implementing data science models, conducting statistical analyses, performing data visualization, and deriving actionable insights from data. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be integral to support data-driven decision-making. This is a hybrid role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur, with opportunities to work remotely on occasion.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Data Science, Data Analytics, and Data Analysis
  • Strong understanding of Statistics and its applications in real-world problem-solving
  • Experience in Data Visualization to communicate insights effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Proficiency in tools such as Python, R, or SQL is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and frameworks is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
