Job Description:

As a Support Technician at T TECH SOLUTION BORNEO SDN BHD, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers using our POS (Point of Sale) systems. Your role will include diagnosing hardware and software issues, assisting with installations, and ensuring that clients experience minimal downtime with their POS systems. You will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction by resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead customer service and technical staff to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Assist customers in solving problems, learn and train other colleagues on new and old products
  • Assist in optimizing company processes
  • Perform installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of POS systems and related equipment.
  • Provide technical assistance and on-site support to clients.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
  • Assist in hardware/software configuration and updates.
  • Prepare service reports and update the supervisor accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Able to write and speak Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia, good at communication
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be considered an added advantage.
  • Candidate possesses at least a Certificate / Diploma or above
  • Certifications related to AutoCount, networking, or system administration are a plus.
  • Proven experience in technical support, particularly with AutoCount POS systems or similar accounting/POS software.
  • Strong understanding of POS hardware, networking, and software configuration.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware (printers, barcode scanners, etc.) and software issues. Knowledge of databases (e.g., Autocount) and experience with system integrations.
  • Excellent communication skills for both client interaction and internal coordination.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with remote support tools and CRM/ticketing systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking protocols and configurations (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi setup, etc.).
  • Availability for on-call or after-hours support as required.
