FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS

  1. Ensure the financial effectiveness of the company and to keep the FC appraise of all financial matters relating to this section and work with the FC where required.
  2. Control all financial aspects of day-to-day business.
  3. Produce monthly management accounts/financial reports and annual statutory accounts.
  4. Oversee maintenance of normal ledger, purchase ledger and sales ledger
  5. co-ordinate cash flow and forecasting
  6. ensure compliance with all fiscal statutory regulations.
  7. meet the requirements of both internal and external audits and liaise with external auditors.
  8. Liaise with banks.
  9. Cash management and forecasting, installing procedures and controls.
  10. Manage currency risk to the business.
  11. Assist with projected business financial simulations and customer simulations as and when required by FC.
  12. Manage and oversee quarterly/monthly stock takes and perform stock valuation.
  13. Perform half-yearly assessment on slow moving stock.
  14. ensure that PDS operates within the agreed procedures set out by ORKLA treasury and internal audit.
  15. Prepare and oversee pre-costing is done accurately within timeline.
  16. Periodic or yearly review of product costing to help management in maintaining good product margin.

    Building Costing For New Products Or Amending Costings Of Existing Products

    1. Understand Production Process For All Products, Including Work In Progress
    2. Gather Information And Assess The Processes And Material Used In Production
    3. Build The Costing Based On The Production
    4. Update The Costing Of Existing Products If There Is Any Changes On Material Or Processes
