RSGx is seeking a highly analytical and meticulous Planning Specialist to join our Kuala Lumpur Eco City office. In this pivotal role, you'll uncover the root causes of project delays and disruptions, providing the expert analysis that underpins commercial claims, dispute resolutions, and project delivery improvements.

Your Impact

  • Investigate & Analyse: Conduct forensic schedule analysis using methodologies such as Time Impact Analysis, Windows Analysis, and As-Planned vs As-Built to determine causes of delay.
  • Build the Case: Review project documentation — daily reports, correspondence, change orders, RFIs — to identify and substantiate delay events.
  • Quantify & Report: Prepare clear, evidence-based reports to support and defend Extension of Time (EOT), disruption, and prolongation claims.
  • Collaborate & Advise: Partner with project managers, commercial teams, and legal counsel to present findings for negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation.
  • Master the Critical Path: Track and analyse shifts in project critical paths across the lifecycle.
  • Share Knowledge: Support training and development of planning and project teams in forensic analysis principles.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years' experience in project planning and scheduling, including at least 2-3 years in forensic delay analysis or claims.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and construction contracts (AS, FIDIC, NEC).
  • Exceptional analytical, written, and presentation skills.
