About the Company

This is a successful and well-known F&B and Retail company that has grown from strength to strength especially in recent years, consistently winning new customers from its competitors with its high quality products and up-to-date designs. With a robust plan in place to continuously grow the business further in this region, they are looking for a Head of Finance to join their team.

Your Role

This Head of Finance will report to a Finance Director and support the CFO in managing the day-to-day Finance operations of the company. You are also tasked to ensure the smooth delivery of month-end closing together with the team that you are managing. Aside from overseeing AP, AR and GL, you will need to handle budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. There is also the opportunity to spearhead process improvement initiatives and take charge of maximising finance workflow efficiency through putting into place a more structured approach to finance operations. You will also ensure reporting and accounting compliance across the group for other subsidiaries.

Requirements

You will need at least a Degree in Accountancy/Finance and a minimum of 12 years experience. Candidates with professional qualifications such as ICAEW, ACCA, CPA have added advantages in the shortlisting process. You will also need experience in Retail or F&B industry and the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates who has done process improvement and various projects involving improving finance operations processes are encouraged to apply.
