About the Role
The Sales Operations Executive will be responsible for managing and optimising day-to-day sales operations across all channels. This role focuses heavily on sales order management, demand vs supply tracking, and sales performance analysis. You will work closely with Sales, Channel/Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure accurate order processing, visibility of demand patterns, and timely reporting that supports decision-making.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly number-sensitive, analytical, and proficient in Excel, with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations (Order & System Management)
- Manage and process sales orders across multiple channels, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure orders are reflected correctly in system and trackers.
- Maintain and update sales operation templates, trackers, and reporting formats (Excel + system).
Channel Demand vs Supply Outlook
- Track and analyse channel demand appetite based on campaigns, promotions, and sell-through patterns.
- Work with Sales and Supply Chain to identify potential stock risks (overstock, stockouts, unusual demand spikes).
- Provide timely updates on demand trends to support channel decisions and allocation planning.
Sales Performance & Analytics
- Perform ST rate tracking, sell-through analysis, and channel performance reporting.
- Consolidate sales data from various systems/channels into weekly/monthly dashboards.
- Identify performance trends, gaps, and insights that support strategy and commercial decision-making.
Reporting & Insights
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for leadership, including weekly sales performance, channel analysis, and demand updates.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all sales reports and trackers.
- Build and improve reporting structures to increase visibility and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Channel/Marketing, and Finance to align on demand, product availability, and campaign requirements.
- Provide operational support during key campaigns, launches, and promotional periods.
- Serve as a central point of contact for all sales data, order issues, and demand-related enquiries.
What You Need To Have
- 1 - 2 years of experience in sales operations, commercial operations, supply/demand planning, or related analytical roles.
- High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, basic modelling).
- Strong numerical accuracy and ability to work with large data sets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret trends and convert data into insights.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisation and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A proactive, hungry, "get-things-done" attitude.
