ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS) CALIBRATION ENGINEER.

General Purpose of the Position:

Calibrate the Engine Management System to meet defined engineering targets or customer specific requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support local homologation testing for new vehicle types
  • Support End of Line customers and resolve after-sales technical issues if necessary.
  • Integration and Calibration of EMS on specific engines and vehicles from customers, meeting specific engineering targets or customer requirements.

Follow the EMS development process/work instructions/complete calibration work without supervision.

Issuing engineering reports to customers

Deliver qualified calibrations to customers on time

  • Manage or coordinate the running of the EMS program, such as timing & technical issues

Manage or coordinate EMS program timing and cost control from a technical perspective

Manage or coordinate EMS programs to support Management goals and company business strategies.

  • Communicate with and support customers to strengthen business relationships.

Build good relationships with customers through official and legal technical support

Get support from higher levels of management to resolve conflicting requests from customers.

What we're looking for:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in automotive engineering/mechatronic/mechanical engineering or related, master's preferred.

Experience/Special Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of internal combustion engines includes a detailed understanding of each component of the vehicle system, particularly the engine, transmission and emission control subsystems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to analyze and handle large test data carefully and patiently.
  • Willing to continuously learn new technologies
  • Excellent language skills in English and Mandarin, we are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking management and clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities effectivel
  • A team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Possess a valid driving license
