Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Petaling Jaya for a System Engineer (DCS/SIS) at Solutas Sdn Bhd. The System Engineer will be responsible for designing and configuring Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) for a variety of industries. Day-to-day tasks include conducting systems engineering activities, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, providing system administration support, offering technical guidance, and ensuring smooth system performance. Collaborative engagement with clients and cross-functional teams will be a key part of this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Systems Engineering, Systems Design, and configuration for DCS and SIS solutions
  • Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Experience with System Administration and maintenance to ensure performance and reliability
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, particularly in Oil & Gas and related industries
  • Relevant certifications in control systems or automation (e.g., TUV Functional Safety, PLC programming, etc.) are an advantage
