Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid System Engineer (DCS / SIS) role based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, with some flexibility for remote work. The System Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing systems, providing technical support, managing system administration tasks, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing system functionality. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with clients, delivering tailor-made system solutions, and ensuring seamless operation to meet project and customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Systems Engineering and Systems Design with experience in developing and implementing solutions.
  • Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose and resolve system-related issues effectively.
  • Experience in System Administration, including configuration, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring system reliability.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
