Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and coordination of
    transport and airport infrastructure
    , including airside and landside civil works.
  • Prepare and review
    runway, taxiway, apron
    , and landside road alignment designs.
  • Produce detailed engineering drawings and 3D models using
    AutoCAD and Civil 3D
    , including alignment, profiling, and cross-sections.
  • Conduct pavement design, geometric design, and earthwork modelling for transport and airport projects.
  • Provide technical input for airport master planning, layout development, and infrastructure optimisation.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces (civil, structural, geotechnical, M&E) to ensure seamless design integration.
  • Review technical submissions, design reports, and construction documentation.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities for submissions and approvals.
  • Supervise, guide, and mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians.
  • Ensure design deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards within agreed timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM);
    Professional Engineer (Ir.) status preferred
    .
  • Minimum
    5–8 years of experience
    in transport or airport infrastructure design.
  • Strong proficiency in
    AutoCAD
    and
    Civil 3D
    (essential).
  • Experience in runway/taxiway/apron design, road geometry, pavement design, and earthwork modelling.
  • Familiar with aviation-related standards (ICAO, FAA, CAAM) and infrastructure guidelines.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and lead technical tasks across multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • East Malaysians are encouraged to apply.
