As Project Planner, you will be responsible for :

  • Develop and continuously update comprehensive project schedules, using Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Monitor and track progress against the project plan, identifying and resolving any potential delays or issues.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide regular progress reports and forecasts to the project leadership team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning and scheduling processes, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and project proposals.
  • Monitor project costs and budgets.
  • Manage project resource planning, resource & cost allocations, and activity sequencing.
  • implement the work schedule and monitor the progress of the work in accordance to the schedule and produce tracking charts in daily/weekly/monthly report work schedules, progress measurements, and reporting systems.
  • Carry out Delay Tracking and assessments of Extensions of Time and the associated schedule impacts against the baseline.
  • Identify, propose and develop mitigation plans and recovery schedules.

Requirements :

  • Possess Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of proven experience as Project Planner or similar role in construction industry.
  • Excellent working knowledge of project management methodologies, planning software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Primavera), and construction scheduling techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve scheduling challenges.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
