Supply Chain Executive – Support Seamless Supply, Logistics & Material Availability

Join our Supply Chain team as a Supply Chain Executive, where you will manage daily procurement, delivery, inventory, logistics, and materials planning to ensure smooth production flow and timely customer order fulfilment. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to uphold quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support daily procurement orders, cost, delivery, inventory control, and logistics operations to meet production and sales targets.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, procurement managers, and production teams to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Assist in developing logistics plans, material forecasts, and adjustments based on production needs.
  • Assist in contract negotiations with suppliers and customers to ensure stable supply and competitive pricing.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensuring accurate management and proposing strategies to optimize flow.
  • Review and update ERP system data related to planning, inventory, and procurement activities.
  • Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Support import activities into Malaysia and export from China, ensuring trade compliance.
  • Prepare supply chain documentation and reports to support quality and audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System within supply chain processes.

Qualifications

Working Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in logistics or procurement roles.
  • Preferably with import/export exposure.

Education

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

Essential Knowledge & Skills

  • Good knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement, and logistics operations.
  • Experience with import and export processes.
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings and change management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Bilingual (English and Mandarin) is an added advantage.
