About the role

We are seeking a talented Supply Chain Senior Executive to join our dynamic team in Kedah. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement and inventory management across our manufacturing and logistics divisions.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate the procurement, purchasing, and inventory control functions to support production and distribution activities
  2. Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms, monitor performance, and maintain strong vendor relationships
  3. Analyze demand forecasts and inventory levels to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  4. Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to ensure the availability of materials and minimize overstocking
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance supply chain visibility and responsiveness
  6. Monitor and report on key supply chain metrics to drive continuous improvement
  7. Provide guidance and support to junior members of the supply chain team

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar supply chain or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry
  2. Strong understanding of procurement best practices, inventory management, and supply chain optimization
  3. Proficient in data analysis and the use of supply chain management software and tools
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with various internal and external partners
  5. Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think strategically to drive supply chain efficiency
  6. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
