Job Description:

  • Monitor production schedule closely to ensure on-time delivery, react, and solve daily production issues immediately.
  • Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production, quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and zero downtime.
  • Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff.
  • Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team.
  • Developing process flow, such as value stream mapping (VSM), initial process improvement, and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety and quality.
  • Determine the number of necessary resources, such as workforce and optimize the usage of raw materials, and ensure output meets the quality standards.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of the production staff from time to time.
  • Ability to coach, train and motivate employees.
  • Managing the cost of manufacturing includes justification of overtime, production cycle time and manhours required, etc.
  • Experience in industrial 4.0, Lean Production System (LPS), and cost reduction activities with the proven historical successful project.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar position in the manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent leadership quality, strong team player, good communication and interpersonal skills, and can-do attitude.
  • Deep knowledge of production management.
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
  • Proficient in English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin speaking and or any other Chinese dialects.
