- Staff management: Supervises, schedules, and trains accommodation attendants and other staff, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company policies.
- Maintenance coordination: Collaborates closely with the maintenance team to log issues and ensure timely repairs, performing routine walk-throughs to identify and address potential hazards.
- Inventory management: Monitors and orders supplies, linens, and equipment to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Problem-solving: Addresses residents' concerns and complaints promptly to ensure a positive living environment and guest satisfaction.
Accommodation Coordinator Job Scope:
- Logistics and planning: Coordinates housing assignments and placements, ensuring efficient utilization of space and resources.
- Client/Resident relations: Acts as a primary point of contact, communicating effectively with residents and management regarding housing rules, services, and community information.
- Documentation and reporting: Maintains accurate records of occupancy, leases, and maintenance requests, and may assist with financial reporting or invoicing.
- Vendor and landlord management: Liaises with external landlords or property management companies to secure housing opportunities and negotiate contracts.
- Policy implementation: Helps develop and implement housing policies and procedures to optimize program effectiveness.
Event Hall RolesRole Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Hall SupervisorManages on-site operations during events, leading the event team and ensuring smooth execution on the day.Event Hall CoordinatorFocuses on the pre-event planning, client relationship management, and logistical coordination with various vendors.Event Hall Supervisor Job Scope:
- On-site execution oversight: Oversees the smooth setup, execution, and teardown of events, ensuring everything runs to schedule.
- Staff leadership: Provides immediate supervision, guidance, and direction to event staff, including ushers, technical crew, and support personnel during an event.
- Problem resolution: Handles unexpected issues, emergencies, and last-minute requests that arise during events, acting as a key on-site decision-maker.
- Quality control: Verifies that all setup and service areas meet quality and safety standards as outlined in event plans.
- Client communication (day-of): Serves as the primary contact for the client during the event to address immediate needs and ensure satisfaction.
Event Hall Coordinator Job Scope:
- Planning and organization: Plans and organizes all aspects of events, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Client engagement: Works closely with clients to understand their vision, negotiate contracts, manage expectations, and translate requirements into detailed event plans (BEOs - Banquet Event Orders).
- Administrative duties: Manages event timelines, registration platforms, schedules, and ensures all necessary permits and documentation are in place.
