Duties and Responsibilities

QC Lab

Responsible for the smooth operation of the Quality Control lab:

  • Receive and log inbound samples
  • Undertake physical analysis
  • Roasting samples
  • Prepare sensory sessions for traders and sales team (cupping)
  • Fulfil client sample requests
  • provide feedback to shippers and suppliers

Sales Support

We are a service-based business, everybody in our team contributes to sales:

  • Support the sales team with follow-up contact after samples are sent
  • Provide clear and detailed sensory analysis of our specialty coffees
  • Quick turnaround of sample requests of roasted and green coffee
  • Falcon Micro packing and fulfilment

Candidate Requirements

  • Fluent in English is a must, with good communication skills
  • Efficient, with excellent organisational skills
  • At least 3 years working in specialty coffee
  • Some knowledge of coffee roasting is useful
  • Q-Grader or CVA Cupper preferred, but not compulsory
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Hard-working
  • Passionate about customer service and quality standards
  • Some experience with food handling and quality management is an advantage
