Description of position

  • Responsible waste water treatment system.
  • Responsible of schedule waste system.
  • Responsible sewerage water treatment system.
  • Factory facilities checking/ monitoring and management Liase with authority inspection/matter– DOE, JKKP, BOMBA, SAJ, Gas Malaysia, MBPG and any related government bodies.
  • Coordinate and monitor Outsource Contractor & Sub Contractor for both plants.
  • Assist Manager to lead maintenance team to plan and execute effective preventive maintenance program.
  • Carry out daily routine inspection and monitoring for WWTP reading in the log sheet.

Responsibilities

Environmental Engineer in responsibility able to independently find the root cause, and troubleshoot in case of any abnormalities in parameters and in the treatment line.

Professional Relationship

Monitor and ensure chemicals and consumables stock are adequate and monitor the consumptions, dosing rate and adjust it to suit the plant operation accordingly.

Education requirement

  • SPM + 3 years working experience in IETS field OR
  • SKM lvl3/ Polytechnic Cert + 1 years working experience in IETS field OR
  • Diploma/ Degree Science or Engineering no working experience in IETS field needed.

Educations qualifications

Any competency to Certified Environment Professional in industrial effluent treatment systems (CePIETSO)- BP, Pysical Chemical processes (CePIETSO-PCP), Environmental professional in Scheduled waste management (CePSWaM) follow DOE standard.

Position skills

  • To operate the waste water treatment plant by adjusting flow quantity, aeration such that good quality sludge and low BOD effluent are produced.
  • To observe all safety regulations and good housekeeping practices including cleaning up of workplace.

Personal skills

  • Always vigilant in waste water treatment process and constant communication to superiors in case of any abnormalities
  • To analyse waste water for sludge content, BOD, COD etc and to interpret the results for an efficient operation of the waste water treatment plant.
