Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible in supervising all approved planning, organizing, assigning, directing and monitor the work of ETP operators in daily operations, maintenance jobs carry out, reclaim water distribution and disposal facilities.

  2. Responsible in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of facilities to meet all applicable regulatory requirements and in accordance with design criteria.

  3. Responsible in approved developing and implementing techniques and methods of process control which increase plant efficiency.

  4. Responsible to closely connect and Works with ETP team to resolve equipment and process problems.

  5. Coordinates approved equipment repair or replacement such that plant effluent quality limits are maintained.

  6. Responsible in overseeing the activities of contracted work for ETP.

  7. Coordinate laboratory analyses to ensure adequate process control.

  8. To support immediate superior in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

  9. Responsible in overseeing and implementing the preventive maintenance program of the plant.

  10. Assists & control in the implementation of the plant safety program.

  11. Assists in training of ETP operators.

  12. Prepares work orders.

  13. Initiates requisitions for tools, materials, equipment, and services.

  14. Responds to emergency or abnormal facility situations outside of normal work shift.

  15. May be required to work rotating shifts.

  16. May be required to be "on-call" and carry ad-hoc request due to plant efficiency

  17. To upkeep plant and surrounding area clean and tidy as per GMP & 5S standard.

  18. To check and monitor the water quality coming to ETP.

  19. To ensure all equipment and pumps are working as per requirement.

  20. To monitor and work with team in cleaning filters and collect the sludge.

  21. To ensure enough chemical dosing is ejected according per instruction.

  22. To record down all standard data in the log sheet on daily basis.

  23. Performs other duties as assigned from time to time as per management directive.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM at least 3 years of experience in wastewater treatment operations or Diploma in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Water Treatment, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, scheduled waste management, and scrubber operations.
  • Having CePIETSO (PCP or BP) certification would be an added advantage.
  • Capable of working independently and proactively with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
