Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax computations (corporate tax, withholding tax, SST, etc.).
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax filings to LHDN, Customs, and other relevant authorities.
  • Maintain proper tax documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Liaise with external tax agents, auditors, and government authorities on tax matters.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and update management on potential impacts.
  • Assist in tax planning and implementation of tax-efficient strategies.
  • Review and reconcile tax-related accounts in the general ledger.
  • Support in financial closing activities related to tax provisions and deferred tax.
  • Handle queries and provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and statutory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in taxation, preferably in manufacturing or audit firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and regulations (Income Tax Act, SST Act, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
