Overview

We are seeking a skilled Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with AUTOCOUNT systems, possess strong negotiation skills, and have a background in construction.

· Review, compare, and approve products and services for purchase.

· Manage inventories and maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.

· Maintain and update supplier information (qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.).

· Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating contracts.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.

· Liaise with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and finance teams to align procurement with project requirements. Provide regular procurement status reports to senior management.

· Review and approve purchase orders, contracts and agreements in compliance with company policies.

· Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply availability to ensure competitive procurement.

· Ensure timely delivery of materials, goods, and services to support operations.

· Manage supplier performance, resolve disputes and evaluate vendor compliance.

· Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing cost analysis and savings.

· Negotiate contracts, purchase agreements, and payment terms to secure best value.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, preferably in Construction.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, contract terms, and sourcing strategies.

· Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment, subcontracting, and tendering processes.

· Proven negotiation and leadership skills.

· Excellent knowledge of AUTOCOUNT systems.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
