About the role:
Our Social Media team is a powerhouse of creative ideas. Through impeccable grammar, aesthetic wisdom, and an advanced understanding of the latest social media trends, we drive our clients' marketing goals.
As a Social Media Specialist, you will play a crucial role in strategising, executing, and optimising content across LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Collaborating closely with designers, account managers, and other specialist teams, you'll be responsible for the development and implementation of multiple high-impact social media strategies. Reporting to the Head of Social Media, you will also contribute to the improvement of processes and driving the overall efficiency and success of the social media department.
Day-to-Day Deliverables:
- Significantly contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies that align with client goals and drive engagement.
- Oversee the creation and curation of compelling content that adheres to the clients' brand and messaging strategy, ensuring high-quality output.
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content across all platforms, maintaining brand voice and fostering positive community interaction.
- Manage and optimise social media calendars, ensuring that content is strategically scheduled and aligned with broader marketing campaigns.
- Capture, analyse, and report on key metrics across platforms, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, leveraging them to enhance the effectiveness of social media strategies.
- Efficiently manage ad-hoc projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Who You Are:
- Experience: You have at least 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies. If you have agency experience, that is a bonus.
- Communication: Outstanding English language skills are a must, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: You have exceptional attention to detail and maintain high standards of work.
- Organisational Skills: You excel in managing multiple projects/clients simultaneously, with strong organisational and planning skills.
- Technological Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of various marketing channels and technologies, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, is essential.
- Analytical Ability: You are adept at analysing data and metrics to inform strategic decisions and optimisations.
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree qualification is preferred, with additional certifications in social media marketing or related fields considered an advantage.
Working at Prominence:
- Salary range for this role is between RM4,300 - RM5,300
- Initial 6-month contract to provide maternity cover, with the strong potential to transition into a permanent role
