Job Descriptions

  1. Responsible for handling full set of account & review monthly management account and also performing month end closing timely and accurately.
  2. Responsible for day-to-day Account operation in execution & including to monitor cash flow update on daily basis.
  3. Responsible for preparing Budget / Forecast of the company, analyse the discrepancy with actual performance and disclose the root cause for decision making.
  4. Responsible to supervise Account Associates, to provide assistance and/or guidance to them in executing their duties.
  5. Responsible for handling tax related matter dealing with IRB such as tax estimation, tax field audit or tax investigation, if any.
  6. Perform monthly reconciliation schedules and follow up on outstanding items, for instance creditors, debtors, inter-company and bank reconciliation.
  7. Accountable for initiate year-end stock take and audit process.
  8. Responsible for SST matters such as submission deadlines, calculation, claimable and report.
  9. Ensuring all AR & AP invoices are completely accounted for month-end closing purpose, within the stipulated time frame.
  10. Handle and settle pending issues before month end closing, for instance AR & AP reconciliation activities before closing and proactively resolve any issues before closing date.
  11. Produce Monthly Debtors & Creditors Aging Report for collection, payment and management review purposes and to ensure monthly account close on time with necessary reconciliation done. Also, to produce and analyse financial report for company performance review and ensure account readiness complying with all statutory timeline.
  12. Responsible in managing, coordinating and liaising with various government and other external parties (company secretary, external auditor, tax agent, financial institution, insurance agents etc.) in regards to statutory, audits & matters arising.
  13. Provide support in account related matters, collaboration with other internal departments, management as well as other group of companies related to SIN HOCK SOON GROUP.
  14. Depending on Account functions assigned, incumbent will be responsible mainly for the execution and planning processes which may entails variety of related task ranging from preparation of documents, obtaining approvals, update of reports, ad hoc accounting support, clerical /admin support.
