Account Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
- Record daily accounting entries for Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
- Handle supplier invoices, staff claims, and payment vouchers with proper documentation.
- Prepare customer quotation, invoices, receipts, and assist in collection follow-ups.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Manage petty cash and assist in simple cash flow updates.
- Assist in monthly payroll preparation and ensure timely statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF).
- Assist in general office administration and filing of HR & accounting documents.
- Assist in month-end closing and preparation of supporting schedules.
- Support financial audits and tax filing by organizing and providing relevant documents.
- Participate in stock count and basic reconciliation when required.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative or finance tasks assigned by superior.
Qualification: Minimum Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Administration, or a related field.
Requirements:
· At least 1–2 years of working experience in related field.
· Basic understanding of accounting entries, payroll, and statutory compliance.
· Attentive to detail and willing to learn.
· Good personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Exposure to audit, or full set of accounts will be an advantage.
· Familiar with AutoCount software.
