Associate Marketing Manager

Are you ready to lead strategic marketing efforts that connect clinical insights with commercial impact in the Companion Animal space?

This role is responsible for developing specific marketing plans for products or species, interpreting and translating scientific clinical data into commercial implications, and conducting primary and secondary market research including labeling and advertising.

The role also involves analyzing data to make strategic recommendations, providing marketing insight for new product launches, recommending pricing strategies, and monitoring budgets. It ensures product development aligns with market needs and represents the marketing group in cross-functional teams to develop or enhance products.

2. Brand Plan Execution and Tactical Marketing

• Execute tactical execution of the Brand Plan at the assigned OPU
• Lead development of marketing tactical plans, implementation, and influencing third-parties
• Monitor and directly supervise all marketing programs of assigned brand according to budget
• Develop briefs for communication and media agencies
• Coordinate with Technical team and distributors to support product knowledge and marketing efforts
• Plan and organize day-to-day implementation of marketing plans, including:
  • Advertising and public relations materials
  • Sales support materials
  • Education materials for distributor representatives
  • Dissemination of market and technical information to sales representatives
  • Display materials for trade shows and conferences

2. Driving Business Results

• Track market share trends against plan and adjust tactics to maintain market leadership
• Spend significant time in the field with sales teams and independently to stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and technical support
• Monitor expenditures and implement contingency plans as needed
• Prepare and input accurate monthly product forecasts
• Support Companion Animal BUSe Head with Annual Discussion Presentation covering marketing strategy, plan, budget, and forecast

2. Commercial Operations and Distributor Collaboration

• Work with distributors to define customer support and pricing strategies aligned with sales objectives
• Partner with distributors to develop goals and action plans for key accounts and opinion leaders
• Coordinate with Companion Animal BUSe Head for distributor plan roll-out and implementation
• Develop and regularly update customer database for analysis on segmentation, field force deployment, direct promotion spending, and more

2. Organizational Development and Collaboration

• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to establish safety stocks and customer service levels
• Support knowledge and skill sharing within the Animal Health division
• Build relationships with MSI and ROPU functions
• Ensure skill development through feedback, coaching, and training opportunities
• Collaborate with Animal Health OPU management to enhance strategic capabilities and foster a transparent, performance-driven culture
