We are a leading company in the Oil & Gas industry, dedicated to providing high-quality engineering solutions and services in Mechanical, Piping, and Steel Structures. We are currently seeking a talented and driven Mechanical & Civil Engineer to join our team as a Site Engineer in the field. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the Oil & Gas sector and wish to gain valuable hands-on experience on-site.

Job Description:

As a Mechanical & Civil Engineer (Site Engineer), you will be responsible for supervising construction activities and ensuring the project execution on-site. You will play a crucial role in overseeing work execution ranging from piping, steel structure & RC works, conducting regular inspections, liaising with clients and consultants to resolve technical issues, and ensuring that safety and quality standards are strictly adhered to.

This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic and challenging environment, where you will be directly involved in the field-based activities of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the project and installations at the site.
  • Ensure all project executions are compliant with safety and environmental standards.
  • Perform regular site inspections and check the progress of project work
  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure that deadlines and project goals are met.
  • Ensure the safe and proper handover of projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to on-site staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for project closure and progress claim
  • Assist in the coordination of materials, resources, and manpower for project tasks.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Engineering with at least 1 year of experience or fresh graduate
  • Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering (fresh graduate welcome to apply)

Experience & Skills:

  • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry/Refinery/Power Plant/Port/Shipyard & Cement Plant is advantageous, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively in a field-based environment.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards within the industry.
