Location : Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Summary:

As part of the Mechanical Engineering team, you will be responsible to play vital role in delivering engineering work package according to specification, on time and within budget. You will be working with our colleagues across the world and third party client. Your day to day work will require you to be in constant effective communication and cooperation across discipline and different responsibilities with various party.

Responsibility:

  • 2D & 3D design & engineering task using software such as Solid Edge & Autodesk Inventor
  • Deliver engineering packages based on engineering standards, norms & project scopes
  • Maintaining contact with colleagues internationally
  • Deliver work as per specification, on time and within budget
  • Communicate effectively within project team to jointly solve challenges
  • Execute project according to the Project Execution Procedure
  • Able to follow intricate instruction from senior colleagues in execution of project scopes
  • Delivering input for progress reporting and project planning

Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum CGPA 3.50.
  • At least TWO (2) of years of work experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in a design and engineering environment
  • Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill are required
  • Proactive and problem-solving attitude, as well as being an analytic and flexible team player
  • Proactive team player with high initiative
  • Strong foundation in static, dynamic and fluid mechanics
  • Experience in 3D modelling software is an advantage
  • Exposure of international standards for machining; fitting; tolerance; welding; etc
  • Exposure of international rules and standards applicable to offshore designs
  • Adaptability, critical thinking, focus on quality, problem analysis, and desire to achieve result
  • Remuneration is based on experience
