The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and driven
Senior Manager, Production Engineering
to be based in
Batam, Indonesia
. The successful candidate will support the Factory Manager in leading the Production Engineering team, driving continuous improvement in product quality, operational efficiency, cost optimisation, and EHS performance within the manufacturing plant.

This is a key leadership role in ensuring world-class manufacturing standards and supporting the company's ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Production Engineering team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product quality, process efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Oversee and optimise assembly line and warehouse operations to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Support EHS programs to maintain a safe and sustainable working environment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, and Six Sigma practices.
  • Provide technical leadership in product industrialisation, process design, and equipment optimisation.

The Ideal Talent

  • Bachelor's Degree in Production, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline).
  • 10+ years
    of managerial experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong background in
    Production & Industrial Engineering (PIE)
    , with proven expertise in
    assembly line setup and operation.
  • Hands-on experience with
    electrical household appliances
    or
    consumer electronics products
    (experience in semiconductors/components alone is not preferred).
  • Experience in ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, and capable of working independently under pressure.
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus as you will be working closely with the team based in Hong Kong.
