Job Summary

The Waiter / Waitress / Cashier is responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service, taking food and beverage orders, handling billing and payments accurately, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Greet and welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
  • Assist guests with seating and menu recommendations
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders

Service Operations

  • Serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards
  • Ensure tables and dining areas are clean, organized, and properly set
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and correct orders

Cashiering Duties

  • Prepare bills and process payments (cash, card, e-wallets)
  • Operate POS system accurately and responsibly
  • Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift

Hygiene & Safety

  • Maintain cleanliness of service and cashier areas
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Comply with grooming and uniform policies

Teamwork & Support

  • Assist with opening and closing duties
  • Support other team members during busy periods
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in restaurant service or cashiering is an advantage
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Mandarin (spoken) are an advantage
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
