What Role Will You Play in Shaping CompAsia's Future?

Corporate Strategy

  • Work with management to solve strategic and ambiguous business problems
  • Understand the business problem via multiple facets faced by key stakeholders
  • Structure problem through quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Synthesize complex raw data into meaningful insights
  • Synthesize complex information into clear key takeaways
  • Develop compelling and actionable recommendations based on insights and key takeaways
  • Present the recommendations and obtain buy-in from management and key stakeholders
  • Implement the proposed strategy

Operational Excellence

  • Work with management to reengineer existing processes to achieve greater efficiency
  • Collect data to identify root causes
  • Identify personnel, equipment, tool, training, cost and timeline required to achieve desired future state
  • Conduct trial run to measure effectiveness and close performance gaps
  • Create metrics to monitor operational performance and flag future improvement opportunities
  • Develop control plans to ensure the sustainability of the new process
  • Present the recommendations and obtain buy-in from management and key stakeholders
  • Implement the proposed new operating model

Project Management

  • Develop project plans to drive improvements
  • Identify potential risks in the project lifecycle
  • Implement and assess the project's effectiveness
  • Fix unforeseeable issues in the implementation
  • Convey, convince and coach stakeholders to ensure the project is implemented

What Qualifications and Experience Will You Bring to Excel in This Role?

  • Undergraduate or post-graduate degree in any discipline from a reputable university
  • Strategy experience in management consulting firm; or in-house strategy experience in a reputable company; or product management experience in a reputable company
  • Strong implementation experience is a must
  • Strong analytical, critical reasoning, business sense and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaborative skill with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong upward management skill – able to convey, convince and coach management on proposed initiatives
