WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO:

  • Mobilization, organization, coordination and supervision of all site activities and monitoring progress of works.
  • Ensure quality of work done by sub-contractors.
  • Familiarize with contract documents and construction drawings.
  • Maintain and monitor usage of temporary services and buildings.
  • Assist Contracts Department on site measurement.
  • Assist Site Coordinator / Site Engineer to check on boundary pegs and setting out completed by sub-contractors before commencement of foundation work.
  • Control and check materials wastage on site. Notify on shortage of materials.
  • Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage and theft.
  • Maintain plant and machinery in good usable condition.
  • Supervise sub-contractors on architectural, civil and structural works.
  • Check records and unload delivered materials.
  • Prepare site daily and progress reports.
  • Ensuring workplace are being maintained in a safe condition.
  • Implementing and fulfilling assignments / duties in connection with Environment, Safety & Health as delegated by Project Manager from time to time.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.

DESIRED QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

  • Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in construction industry
  • Knowledge in site safety & health requirements.
  • Familiar with ISO procedures and QLASSIC quality standards would be an added advantage.
  • Taking initiative and being able to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Able to accept contract employment (Yearly renewable basis)
  • Willing to based at Petaling Jaya
