About the role

Epicon Berhad is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Site Safety Supervisor to join our team in Ipoh, Perak. As a Site Safety Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our construction site personnel. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about workplace health and safety within the construction industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare the pre-job hazard assessment in documentation required by the site safety requirement.
  2. To ensure contractors and workers are complying with the safety requirements at site.
  3. Comply with all Safety & Health requirements in customer sites.
  4. Assist Project Manager on safety matters, procedures and specifications as required by client.
  5. Assist Project Manager to ensure all workers are wearing PPE (personal protective equipment).
  6. Perform inspection on the tools and equipment used by contractor.
  7. Assist Project Manager and identify any safety issues during project execution.
  8. Check inventory of the first aid box weekly.
  9. Ensure workers' passport, working permit, CIDB or any other necessary documents are always valid to work at site.
  10. Attend Safety Meetings at site.
  11. Ensure all the safety requirements complied by everyone at site.
  12. To ensure workers are working in safe and healthy condition.
  13. Ensure all equipment/machinery are complying to safety requirement and safe to be used.
  14. Coordinate with site team conducting housekeeping activity to ensure site cleanliness and tidiness.
  15. To prepare Safety Reports, HIRARC etc.
  16. To ensure workers are being briefed and working accordingly to the Job Safety Analysis and HIRARC.
  17. Notify superior if there is any urgent or emergency in site if necessary.
  18. To involve in incident investigation if there is any incident at site.
  19. To check the certificate of PMA & PMT.
  20. Perform all other tasks as assigned that reasonably relate to regularly assigned tasks.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Candidate is mandatory to possess yellow book.
