System Configuration Consultant – Manufacturing & Supply Chain Systems

Location:

Singapore | Malaysia (Johor or Kuala Lumpur) (Partial onsite role with possible regional collaboration)

Rate: Negotiable

Assignment duration: 6 Months with possible extension to 1 year

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on System Configuration Consultant to support the configuration, enhancement, and continuous improvement of our global manufacturing and supply chain systems.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring that solution designs are accurately implemented in systems such as Oracle EBS / Fusion, o9 APS, MES, and 3PL interfaces — supporting initiatives including plant expansions, material flow optimization, automation integration, supply chain network optimization, and lead-time data improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, test, and deploy system changes within ERP (Oracle EBS / Fusion), APS (o9), MES, and related supply chain systems.
  • Translate functional specifications and solution designs into executable system configurations.
  • Ensure system setups align with business process requirements and compliance standards.
  • Perform detailed system testing, data validation, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and Technical PMs to ensure seamless integration across systems.
  • Maintain configuration documentation, change logs, and system reference materials.
  • Support hypercare, user training, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
  • Recommend configuration enhancements to improve system usability, automation, and data accuracy.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong practical experience configuring Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion Cloud modules in Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Warehousing.
  • Hands-on experience with o9 APS (particularly SEIO/MEIO setup and model execution).
  • Exposure to MES systems and 3PL integrations is highly desirable.
  • Background in regulated manufacturing (Medical Devices, Pharma, or similar) with understanding of eDHR/eBR processes.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and data validation skills.
  • Comfortable working in live production environments and supporting "Run-the-Business" change requests.
  • Understanding of system architecture, data dependencies, and interface configurations.

Education & Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Relevant Oracle or o9 certifications preferred.
  • Experience with regulated systems and validation documentation (e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ) is an advantage.
