1. Quality Control and Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to analyze product quality data, detect inconsistencies, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights to support waste reduction, efficiency gains, and yield improvement.
  • Lead and collaborate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Understand departmental needs to enhance cross-functional problem-solving.
  • Monitor and report on disposal cost reduction percentages.

2. Cost Optimization

  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support initiatives aimed at reducing raw material wastage, energy consumption, and labor costs.
  • Support management in decision-making for capital investments and operational improvements.
  • Track and analyze COGS %, productivity improvement, and labor cost %.
  • Ensure accurate incentive reporting and trending.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze production and quality control data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reports for real-time production insights, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Create innovative data visualizations to communicate key insights.
  • Ensure accurate processing of live data and trend identification.
  • Monitor KPI dashboards to support data-driven decisions.

4. Data Management

  • Collect, clean, and organize production data from multiple sources (e.g., machines, sensors, ERP systems, quality control databases).
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across databases.
  • Drive data digitalization initiatives.
  • Implement error prevention and detection mechanisms in data collection.
  • Perform regular data housekeeping to maintain high accuracy.

5. Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure data integrity in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP).
  • Document analytical processes and findings for clarity and consistency.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of processed data.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and company data management standards.

Job Requirements

  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or production environments, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
