We're Hiring: Senior Project Manager, TRX Integrated Management System (TiMS)

TRX City is seeking an experienced and driven professional to lead the implementation of the
TRX Integrated Management System (TiMS)
— a mission-critical, district-wide
SCADA platform
that underpins the future operations of the Tun Razak Exchange.

This role leads the end-to-end delivery of
Contract 7B (TiMS)
, ensuring the solution architecture, integrations, and commissioning meet the long-term operational needs of the TRX District.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the full lifecycle of Contract 7B — from design and implementation to testing, training, commissioning, and handover.
  • Review and enhance the overall architecture of the TRX Integrated Management System (SCADA).
  • Develop user requirements and use cases with consultants, contractors, and end-users.
  • Bridge knowledge gaps across teams and provide deep expertise on SCADA and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Oversee all project documentation, approvals, and adherence to TRX project governance.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, integration issues, and system dependencies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, infrastructure contractors, consultants, and third parties to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage consultants and contractors to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Prepare internal approval papers, ensuring all deliverables and trainings are completed.
  • Oversee system handover and transition to District Management IT operations.
  • Drive technical decisions related to solution design, architecture, and system integration.
  • Track and document project value outcomes for management reporting.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum
    13 years' experience
    leading SCADA system projects as a Project Manager.
  • At least
    8 years of hands-on experience in system design and multi-system integration
    (not maintenance or support roles).
  • Solid expertise in
    BAS/BMS design
    , with strong project and design delivery background.
  • At least
    8 years of specialised experience
    in SCADA/BMS/digital infrastructure fields.
  • Background from reputable organisations, or recognised
    BMS/SCADA design consultancies
    is a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record in design, construction, testing, and deployment of mission-critical SCADA systems.
  • Strong on-site supervision experience, including issue resolution between contractors and consultants.
  • Deep understanding of digital infrastructure, automation systems, and control network architecture for large-scale developments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
