Knowledge Management Executive

Based in Kuala Lumpur, the candidate will be responsible for managing the creation, organisation and delivery of knowledge assets and services to the Firm's lawyers.

This role will report to the Knowledge Management Partners

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute Knowledge Management ("KM") strategy roadmap and oversee budget implementation.
  • Gather know-how of the Firm and contribute to knowledge collection and standardisation. Maintain and enhance template library of precedents, guidance material and standard forms; identify gaps and organise resources for publication on the Firm's knowledge platforms.
  • Contribute to junior lawyer education, setting the curriculum, delegating presentation tasks, assisting with preparation of training materials and organising internal trainings for knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated on legal, market and industry developments and disseminate knowledge within the Firm and externally, including to draft client-facing communications and thought leadership materials on latest legal developments for contribution to internal and external publications.
  • Participate and ensure alignment of KM initiatives within the Firm and with the wider RTA network.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a strong academic background with a degree in law and bar admission, relevant post graduate studies will be a significant plus.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a reputable law firm with experience drafting and publishing articles, organizing presentations and training sessions.
  • Possess good project management skills, self-motivated and capable of working independently to drive projects to completion.
  • Good presentation and communication skills are necessary, in addition to a positive and proactive attitude as the role requires a pragmatic and hands-on approach with attention to detail when working with lawyers across different seniorities.
