Job Title: Head, Knowledge Management

Overview

The Head of Knowledge Management leads the organisation's efforts to build, maintain, and improve a central knowledge repository for Group Technology. This role ensures that important technical knowledge is captured, updated, and easily accessible to support faster issue resolution, better delivery, and improved decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge Management Strategy

  • Develop and execute a knowledge management roadmap.
  • Set clear goals and build the right people, processes, and technology.
  • Continuously improve the knowledge management framework.

Collaboration & Adoption

  • Work with different teams to align knowledge strategies across the organisation.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across all employee levels.
  • Provide training, coaching, and support to encourage a strong knowledge-sharing culture.

Knowledge Systems & Governance

  • Ensure knowledge management tools and technologies are current and functioning well.
  • Manage access, usage, and flow of information within and outside the organisation.
  • Capture new knowledge and maintain high-quality content in the knowledge base.
  • Use analytics to track the effectiveness and usage of knowledge management.

Work Environment

  • Focus mainly on Group Technology but may extend to the wider organisation.
  • Responsible for building and improving knowledge management capabilities across the technology landscape.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 8 years of leadership experience with strong programme management skills.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in:
  • Knowledge management tools, CMS, and databases.
  • Categorising and structuring information.
  • Technical content writing (SOPs, incident/problem resolutions).
  • Application or infrastructure delivery/support.
  • Banking/financial technology ecosystem.
  • Using metadata for search optimisation.
  • Measuring and improving knowledge effectiveness.
  • Proficient with Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and process-improvement driven.
  • ITIL knowledge/certification is a plus.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM13, RM18,000.00 per month
