Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Distribution located in WP Kuala Lumpur. The applicant is expected to be responsible for:

Sales Management

  • Monitor and manage sales activities across the firm.
  • Coach and train portfolio advisors towards achieving growth objectives and revenue targets.

Client Coverage

  • Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities for client portfolios based on an approved product list.
  • Generate new business leads and successfully acquire new clients.

Team Leadership and Recruitment

  • Recruit, hire and mentor a competent team of Portfolio Advisors to support the growth of the firm.

Marketing and Leads Generation

  • Lead marketing initiatives to including networking, presentations and events to expand client base.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree or Professional Qualification in Business /Accounting / Finance / Economics/ Investment, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Proven success in acquiring and managing relationships with clients.
  • Highly motivated and passionate about providing wealth management solutions to clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven success in managing a sales team in meeting their targets.
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment preferred.
