Job Purpose

  • Develop and manage BIM Models for modular projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for modular construction projects, ensuring alignment with design and construction requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to create and refine modular design solutions, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
  • Implement and manage BIM standards and protocols to ensure consistency and quality across all project models.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate modular components into the overall project model.
  • Analyze and resolve design and construction issues related to modular components, providing solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Create detailed documentation, including model reports, clash detection results, and construction drawings to support project execution.
  • Utilize BIM software tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and others to develop and manage project models.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in BIM and modular construction, recommending improvements as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to team members on BIM best practices and modular design principles.

Requirements

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience with BIM software, particularly in the context of modular construction - Revit, Navisworks.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of modular construction techniques and practices.
  • Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and creating construction documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards related to modular construction.
