Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll on a bi-weekly/monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and local laws.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, salary changes, deductions, and overtime.
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure proper payroll information such as new hires, terminations, and promotions are accurately reflected.
  • Calculate and process benefits, bonuses, incentives, and deductions (e.g., tax, insurance, retirement plans).
  • Ensure timely payment of wages, including direct deposit or check processing.
  • Prepare and distribute pay slips and ensure employees have access to their payroll information.
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies by working with employees and management to resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and tax requirements related to payroll.
  • Generate and submit reports related to payroll, taxes, and benefits as required by government authorities.
  • Handle employee payroll inquiries and provide clarification regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes, including tax filing and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, QuickBooks).
  • Solid understanding of local, state, and federal tax regulations and labor laws.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to address employee concerns and inquiries.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4, RM6,000.00 per month
