About the Role

Are you an analytical, detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for precision and process improvement? We're looking for a General Ledger (GL) Accountant with strong audit experience to join our finance team.

You'll play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, strengthening internal controls, and supporting audits, all while contributing to our company's continued growth and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the General Ledger: Record, classify, and reconcile all financial transactions accurately and on time.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Develop precise financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support Audits: Collaborate with internal and external auditors, preparing documentation and providing audit insights.
  • Analyse Financial Data: Identify trends, provide financial analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Enhance Internal Controls: Leverage audit experience to recommend improvements for financial accuracy and risk management.
Who You Are
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-4 years as a GL Accountant, ideally with audit experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of tax principles or prior experience with tax-related processes.
