Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Provide strong leadership and vision for the overall operations and strategic direction of the Senai plant.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to support company growth and long-term sustainability.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture aligned with corporate goals.

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day plant operations, including production, engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and safety.
  • Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources and smooth coordination across all departments.

Financial & Budgetary Oversight

  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Monitor plant P&L performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Team Development & HR Management

  • Build and lead a high-performing team; ensure proper training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Uphold company values and promote a positive and safe work environment.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure full compliance with local laws, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to headquarters on plant performance and issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in plant or general management, preferably within manufacturing or renewable energy sectors.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale operations, with strong knowledge of production, supply chain, and quality management.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and cost controls.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage due to liaison with HQ and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
