Qualifications & experience

  • At least 2 years working experiences as a CNC Turning/Auto Lathe/ Lathe Technician in the precision machining industry.
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC Turning/Auto Lathe/ Lathe machines, including programming and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and fixturing.
  • Ability to interpret and read engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with CAM( Esprit,solid CAM, NXCAM and Surfmill ) software.
  • Have programming knowledge for Fanuc and Mitsubishi controller.
  • Fresh graduate are encourage to apply.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • 1.CNC Turning/Auto Lathe/ Lathe Operations: a)Set up and operate CNC Turning/Auto Lathe/ Lathe machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. b)Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality and efficient production.
  • 2.Tooling and Fixturing: a)Select, install, and maintain cutting tools and fixtures, ensuring they meet the requirements of each machining job. b)Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize tooling and fixturing for improved efficiency and quality.
  • 3.Quality Control: a)Conduct regular inspections of machined components using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet tight tolerances and quality standards. b)Identify and address any deviations from specifications, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality.
  • 4.Programming and Troubleshooting: a)Program CNC Turning/Auto Lathe/ Lathe machines using CAM software (solid CAM, NX CAM, Surfmill, ensuring accurate and efficient machining processes. b)Troubleshoot and debug programming and machining issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • 5.Continuous Improvement: a)Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. b)Work closely with the Quality Manager to enhance overall quality control processes.
  • 6.Supplier Collaboration: a)Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components. b)Conduct supplier audits to assess and improve quality performance.
  • 7.Shift rotation required
