Our client from property industry which based in Johor Bahru seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Safety and Security Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing risk management strategies to safeguard the organization from potential threats while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Involves collaborating with various departments to uphold safety, security, and operational standards, and continuously monitoring the risk landscape to minimize any negative impact.
  • Managing risk knowledge training, overseeing audits, maintaining records, and coordinating with the Emergency Response Team to handle emergencies according to the Emergency Management Plan.
  • Investigate and report incidents, recommend resolutions, and address suspected fraudulent or unethical behavior.
  • Overseeing the safety and security budget, supporting sustainability initiatives, and contributing to long-term organizational objectives.

Requirement:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health/Safety or a related field, along with 10+ years of experience in a compliance role within the retail or related industries.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a managerial position.
  • Strong ability to quickly understand local market conditions and business dynamics, with expertise in security and safety systems, and the ability to influence profit and loss through effective actions.
  • Proficient in data and trend analysis to identify risks and enhance performance, with advanced MS Office skills.
