Job Purpose:

Measuring land, defines property boundaries, creates maps, and collaborates with engineers to support construction projects, ensuring compliance with legal and environmental standards.

Qualification & Requirement:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma in Land Surveying/Geomatics or related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Preferred to have experience in multi types of construction projects of building, road & infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and AutoCAD.
  • Can travel and join immediately.
  • Willing to be stationed in Kuching, Sarawak.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To conduct all general surveys and alignment surveys at site. Perform topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys using tools such as total stations, GPS, levels, and laser scanners.
  • Setting out construction works by marking reference points, control points, and construction boundaries.
  • Ensuring alignment and positioning of structural elements according to design plans.
  • Preparing Survey Documentation by producing detailed drawings, maps, and CAD models based on survey data and maintain accurate survey records and site measurement logs.
  • Coordinate with Project Team by working closely with engineers, architects, and site managers to provide accurate data and assist in resolving discrepancies between design and site conditions.
  • Monitor construction progress by checking that ongoing work remains aligned with the set-out points and tolerances.
  • Conduct periodic site checks to verify construction accuracy.
  • Update and Maintain Survey Data - record site changes and update plans as needed (as-built documentation) and ensuring updated data is shared with the project team for decision-making.
  • Managing survey equipment is by calibrating, maintaining, and properly storing the surveying instruments.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 36 months

Pay: RM6, RM7,000.00 per month
