Assistant Quantity Surveyor

  1. Analyze, extract, categorizing, quantifying, and managing the construction materials take off for projects.
  2. Preparation of materials requisition, purchase order and keep track of materials usage.
  3. Preparation of sub-contractors' agreement which shall be align with the contract requirements (eg. duration, condition, compliance) and scope of works.
  4. Tracking of month progress claims, variation orders, additional cost, and deduction.
  5. Prepare and track physical progress on site, monitor financial claim and updating of monthly project report.
  6. Prepare BQ for sub-contractors and ensure quantity and work scopes are matching to the requirements.
  7. Prepare comparison of pricing from various suppliers, subcontractor reviews.
  8. Prepare quarterly sub-contractors performance reviews.

Quantity Surveyor

  1. Responsible for understanding, quantifying, budgeting and managing the costs of the construction and building of projects.
  2. Breakdown project cost in terms of preparation cost, material cost, labour cost, plant cost, professional fees, taxes and any other charges which may incur in running and maintenance cost of the building life cycle.
  3. Analyzing the various construction options available (construction methods, choice of materials, size and quality of project) which will influence the project cost and budget.
  4. Keeping an updated database / library of building materials (catalogues and pricing).
  5. Screen through the tender notice and requirements, filling of bills of quantities, gathering of supporting documents and reference for tendering purposes.
  6. Identify risks surrounding the project and the likelihood of cost variation.
  7. Tracking of project cost breakdown and to analyze project progress vs expenditure.
  8. Check and vet through progressive claims prior to issuance of invoices to client and process subcontractors' claims.
