What you'll be doing?
  • Comprehensive training: Undergo structured training across Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics, gaining a broad understanding of automotive engineering.
  • Problem-solving: Analyze and troubleshoot technical challenges to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce defects.
  • Process improvement: Assist in implementing process improvements and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with diverse teams to support daily engineering operations and coordinate on technical matters.
  • Technical communication: Prepare reports and documentation in Chinese and English, enhancing your multilingual professional skills.
  • Performance optimization: Monitor production and equipment performance, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency gains.
  • Continuous improvement: Learn and apply Lean Manufacturing principles, contributing to ongoing enhancements in the production process.
  • New model introduction: Support exciting new vehicle introductions and process validation activities, staying at the forefront of automotive innovation.
Who are they looking for?
  • Engineering background: Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related fields). Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Technical aptitude: Demonstrate strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for automotive engineering.
  • Bilingual proficiency: Be proficient in writing, reading and speaking Chinese and English to effectively liaise with stakeholders from China and international teams.
  • Adaptability: Be willing to work in Alor Gajah, Melaka and thrive in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Enthusiasm for learning: Show eagerness to learn and grow in the dynamic field of automotive engineering.
