Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operations and Management

  2. Manage the daily operations of the café to ensure smooth and efficient services.

  3. Ensure the café is clean, well-maintained, and fully compliant with all local health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

  4. Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies (coffee, milk, food items, etc.) and coordinating with vendors and suppliers.

  5. Operational Efficiency

  6. Perform or oversee regular maintenance of café equipment.

  7. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency.

  8. Team Management and Development

  9. Create and manage weekly staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.

  10. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale.

  11. Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions on topics like customer service, new menu items, and equipment usage.

  12. Business Strategy

  13. Develop strategies to drive business growth, increase customer loyalty, and boost sales.

  14. Customer Service and Engagement

  15. Ensure that all staff consistently delivers friendly, prompt, and exceptional customer service.

  16. Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally, maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
  17. Nurture strong relationships with regular customers to build loyalty and a positive community reputation.

  18. Stay informed of industry trends and customer preferences to suggest new menu items or promotions.

  19. Required Skills and Experience

  20. Proven work experience as a Café Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar supervisory role in the food service industry

  21. A valid Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one).

  22. Core Competencies

  23. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  24. Work Schedule Flexibility

  25. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

  26. Educational Background

  27. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  28. A degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is a plus.
