Job Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with MFRS.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulators for audits, tax filings, and financial submissions.

2. Accounting Operations

  • Handle full sets of accounts and responsible for month-end closing and other financial matters. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions.
  • Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
  • Responsible for the overall preparation of management and financial reports in compliance with management requirements including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow statement.
  • Collaborate with company secretary, auditors, bankers and tax agents pertaining to account and tax related matters.

3. Project Financing & Treasury

  • Assist in securing bridging loans, term loans for property development projects.
  • Ensure effective placement of surplus funds in approved investments with optimal returns.
  • Liaise with banks on project account requirements, trust accounts, and compliance with loan covenants.

4. Banking & Financing

  • Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies (BNM, Bursa, SC where relevant).
  • Assist in negotiating financing facilities, loan renewals, and competitive banking terms.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MICPA.
  • At least 5–7 years' finance/accounting experience, ideally in property development or construction.
  • Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems (e.g., IFCA, SQL) and proficient with MS Excel.
  • Proactive, meticulous, deadline-driven, with good leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • A good team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision
