Job Descriptions

We are seeking a self-driven and versatile Technical Sales & Marketing Engineer to support the early-stage growth of WPTEC Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both sales, marketing creativity and technical engagement with clients.

You will work directly with the management team to:

- Build marketing strategies and tools

- Conduct market research and surveys

- Support technical pre-sales and early customer engagement

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote WPTEC's weighing components & automation systems across Malaysia and Asia Pacific markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through technical consultation, solution design, and project support.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and presentations aligned with client requirements.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver effective and practical solutions.
  • Conduct site visits and gather technical data to support sales and product recommendations.
  • Participate in marketing activities such as exhibitions, digital campaigns, and product demonstrations.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities to support business growth.
  • Work closely with regional partners to ensure smooth project communication and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of technical sales experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong interest in industrial equipment, process systems, or automation.
  • Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (spoken & written) to liaise with regional / china partners.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn both technical and commercial aspects of the business.
  • Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel locally or regionally when required.
