About the Role:

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for finance, technology, and helping customers? We are a leading fintech company seeking a dedicated Onboarding Executive to play a crucial role in our customer journey. You will be at the forefront of our Electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) process, ensuring a secure, efficient, and supportive onboarding experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the daily eKYC onboarding process, reviewing customer applications in line with established procedures and anti-money laundering (AML) standards.
  • Conduct proactive outreach calls to assist customers experiencing difficulties, educating them to ensure a smooth and successful onboarding.
  • Perform name screening and due diligence on new users using various databases (e.g., sanctions lists, PEP lists).
  • Review and analyze potential high-risk accounts, including those from high-risk countries or Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
  • Request, review, and verify KYC documents to ensure their credibility and accuracy.
  • Prepare and file Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reports for senior management approval.
  • Monitor team targets and alert timelines to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with external parties when necessary.
  • Stay updated on relevant due diligence regulations, policies, and procedures.

What We're Looking For (Requirements):

  • Proven experience in AML/eKYC operations or a similar onboarding/compliance role within banking, fintech, or financial services.
  • Solid understanding of AML/CFT Laws, Rules, and Regulations.
  • Familiarity with e-Money products and digital wallet platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide customers over the phone.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive and responsible team player, able to manage ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
